WHAT THE QUARANTINE HAS TAUGHT ME...

Today, I wanted to speak about what ''a forced'' quarantine has ''kinda'' taught me.
I know, I know, it's weird to think about it, but hopefully, almost everyone has realized something about themselves they didn't know or better said, they didn't realize.
Firstly, now I know for sure that I would prefer to work from home, that's something I have to work on and to try to achieve. I was actually able to do so much more these days that I didn't do in my last year. Always having the excuse that I was working about 10 hours per day and being tired the rest of it. That is not necessarily correct... But I would love to be able to work from home...
Yesterday, I realized something else too... All my life I thought that I do not like to work out too much. I mean, I was never a skinny girl but not too chubby either, so kinda deep into my conscience it didn't feel that I actually needed to work out (to be honest, just a diet it's enough). But working out for the last month was hard... especially in the beginning, but also yesterday, I realized that could go on working out for hours... I know, what??? Surely, finding the type of workout that you enjoy (and does not make you want to give up... because you will not be able to do it) is important, also being able to adjust the pace of it... After working out daily for one month, I can assure you, you will love the way your body starts to feel. So today I did three small workouts and really enjoyed it, one stretching, one upper body and one, one of my biggest concern, lower body, in total 1,5-hour. WHO AM I?
As well, for the past two weeks, doodling has become a big part of my days. I took every day one hour, at least, to doodle, learn painting shapes and flowers and trees... I HOPE NEVER TO GIVE IT UP, IT MAKES ME SOO HAPPY! Tell you something, I was always thinking, that you either have the talent of painting or not. That is not true, actually practicing every day, that's what it is important, and I can assure, you will be able to at least doodle in your agenda for fun. :)
And lastly, I decided to finally take on the learning german path, so right now, it is one hour every day of practicing my german...
The idea is, think about what you enjoyed doing during this month, and if that is just rest, that's great too, means your body needed rest and maybe you are exhausting it too much. Or learning a new language or skill, great! Now you have a new hobby which hopefully makes you happy. Working out every morning? Great! It means that your body needs nourishing and care. Starting something new in your life is great, and this time FORCED at home gave us the possibility to understand maybe what we have been missing. Now the most important is not to give it up... And by the way, if you found out that you are missing your way of living, that's amazing, means that you have almost :) everything worked out in your life, so be happy, to be one of the lucky ones, that do what they love to do...
